Flexible Spending Accounts and Other Pre-Tax Benefits

ALTRES and your employer offer various pre-tax benefits to save you money in multiple ways. For example, Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) allow you to set aside a portion of your paycheck for eligible expenses or premiums before taxes are deducted. So you pay a lower amount of taxes because your taxable income is reduced.

What is an FSA?
